Add HaveTML to your AI

One markdown file that teaches your assistant what HaveTML is and when to reach for it: publish the long answer as an artifact and hand you a link, instead of filling the chat with a report nobody can share. It covers artifacts, live state, versions, visibility, comments, notes, decisions and canvases, and it is written against the tools the MCP server actually has.

Upload a zip

Claude on the web or in the desktop app.

  1. 1Download the zip. It holds one folder, havetml, with SKILL.md inside it, which is the layout Claude expects.
  2. 2In Claude, open Settings, then Capabilities, then Skills.
  3. 3Choose Upload skill and pick the zip.
  4. 4Turn it on for the chats or the project you want it in.

No Skills section in your settings? Claude only shows it on some plans. Use the Anything else path instead, which pastes the same text into a project's instructions.

2Connect the MCP server

The skill tells your assistant what to do; the MCP server is what lets it do it. Without the connection it will describe tools that are not there. The wizard mints a token and prints the exact config for your tool, and MCP is free on every plan.

Stable URLs

All three are built from skills/havetml/SKILL.md in the HaveTML repository, so the copy button, the download and the URL cannot drift apart. Point an agent straight at the first one if it fetches its own instructions.
