A Gamma alternative for decks and pages your AI already wrote

Gamma generates decks inside its own editor. HaveTML hosts the HTML your agent already wrote, with comments and versions behind one link.

HaveTML

The page, as a link

Falcon Atlas on HaveTML: interactive HTML in the sandbox, with the comments column open on the right
Falcon Atlas on HaveTML, captured from production on 19 Oct 2026. The HTML is the page: interactive, commented, versioned, and one link. That is the job this Gamma alternative is for — not generating a new deck in a second editor.

Generate in Gamma vs bring your own HTML

Gamma's job is generation. You describe a deck or a site, Gamma writes and designs it, and you keep editing inside Gamma. That is a good product for a blank page. HaveTML's job is the next step, or a different one: publishing a file you already have. If Claude, Cursor, Codex, or Relume already wrote the slides as HTML, you do not need a second generator to put a link on them. You publish the file. It starts private. You make it unlisted when someone outside your login should open it. Re-publish and the same link points at the new version. Signed-in readers pin comments to the rendered page, and replies arrive without refreshing. The HTML file is the delivered page, in a sandbox, isolated from HaveTML's own cookies.

What Gamma's own help pages say about export and sharing

Gamma's export article lists PDF, PNG and PowerPoint (PPTX), with Google Slides reached by uploading the PPTX. The collaboration article describes link access as no access, view, comment or edit, and it says those settings depend on the plan. Password protection is listed on Pro and up, with an explicit note that it applies to Gamma documents, not Gamma sites. Custom domains appear on the Pro upgrade article as publishing multi-page sites to your own domains. HaveTML does not export to PowerPoint, does not generate the deck, and does not offer a custom domain yet. It does offer a password or expiry on Pro for the HTML link you already have, on the page itself, not only on a document flavour of it.

When to stay in Gamma

Stay in Gamma when you want it to write the deck, restyle it, and hand you a PPTX. Stay when the people you share with should comment or edit inside Gamma's own access model. HaveTML is the wrong tool for that loop. It becomes the right tool the moment the artifact has to travel as HTML: a client without a Gamma seat, a reviewer who should open a page rather than a slide file, an agent that should publish over MCP instead of you copying cards into another generator. The connect page has the MCP setup. Pro on HaveTML is $6 a month or $60 a year. Gamma's annual headline rates on 19 Oct 2026 were Plus $9, Pro $18 and Ultra $90 per seat per month billed annually.

The short version

  • Yes. Choose HaveTML when the deck or page already exists as HTML and you want a link, comments and versions — not another generator.
  • Partial. Choose Gamma when you want it to generate and design the deck for you, and to export to PowerPoint.

Where Gamma is better

It generates and designs the deck for you, and exports to PowerPoint.

Host the HTML instead

If the deck is already HTML, publish it to HaveTML. If it is still in Gamma, export PDF or PPTX, then ask your agent to rebuild it as one HTML file and publish that.
