A Pastebin alternative for HTML, Markdown and JSON

Pastebin lists HTML as a syntax-highlighting language: the file shows as text. HaveTML renders it as a working page in a sandbox, with private, unlisted or public links, comments and versions.

HaveTML

The page, as a link

Falcon Atlas on HaveTML: interactive HTML in the sandbox, with the comments column open on the right
Falcon Atlas on HaveTML, captured from production on 19 Oct 2026. Pastebin would show this HTML as highlighted source. HaveTML runs it as a page, with the comments column on the right.

A paste bin highlights HTML. HaveTML runs it.

Pastebin's own description is that it stores text online for easy sharing, mainly source and config. HTML appears on pastebin.com/languages as a highlighting language, the same list as Java, C and Python. The recipient reads the source. That is the correct behaviour for a paste bin. HaveTML is not a paste bin that happens to colour HTML. It renders the file in a sandbox so the page works: layout, scripts, interaction. If you wanted a diff of the markup, Pastebin is closer to the job. If you wanted someone to use the thing the model made, the rendered link is the job.

What Pastebin's FAQ and Pro page actually say

The FAQ says guests can create public and unlisted pastes but not private ones; free members get 10 unlisted and 10 private; Pro is unlimited on those. It says you decide whether a paste expires, that members can delete their pastes, and that unused free pastes with no traffic can be deleted. The size line on the Pro page is 500 KB free and 10 MB Pro. HaveTML starts every upload private, with no cap on artifacts, and the links are permanent on every plan. Size is 4.5 MB over MCP and REST, 50 MB via the dashboard. None of those facts is an insult to Pastebin. They are the product boundaries the two FAQs already publish.

When a paste bin is still the right tool

Use Pastebin when you need to dump text in a hurry, anonymously, with highlighting for a language HaveTML does not render — or when keyword alerts on public pastes are the point. Use HaveTML when the paste is HTML, Markdown, YAML or JSON that should be a page, when the link should start private, when you want comments on the rendering, or when an agent should publish it over MCP. You can keep using both. The switching step is paste the HTML into HaveTML, or ask the agent to publish it as unlisted, and send that link instead of the paste URL.

The short version
