Share a Claude artifact with anyone, no Claude account needed

Claude's share links ask the recipient to sign in to Claude. Publish the same HTML to HaveTML and anyone with the link can open it, without an account.

Try it

One link, in the browser

A small pricing calculator — the kind of interactive HTML Claude writes — is running in the sandbox below. Paste your own artifact to replace it. Get a link publishes it as unlisted through the same path the dashboard uses.

Live preview · sandboxed

This makes an unlisted link: anyone with it can open it. You can change that anytime. Get a link uses the dashboard upload, so the paste can be up to 50 MB. MCP and REST still reject bodies over 4.5 MB because those paths go through a Vercel function. This box never leaves the browser, so the 50 MB dashboard ceiling is the one that applies here.

Claude's share link

The recipient is asked to sign in to Claude, even with the link. Anthropic's help page is the source. Legacy artifacts published from a chat are the exception.

The HaveTML link

An unlisted or public link opens without an account. Comments need a free sign-up.

A live example: Falcon Atlas (hz4nY9GzNh), public, opens signed out.

How sharing works inside Claude today

Anthropic's help page is the source: everyone needs a Claude account. People without one can't open a shared artifact, even with the link. The only exception is a legacy artifact published from a chat. “Anyone with the link” means anyone signed in to Claude who has the link. Email invites (in beta) also need the invitee to sign in with that address. Team and Enterprise owners can decide whether anything is shared outside. Artifacts that use connectors cannot use “Anyone with the link”. That is Claude's product, documented by Claude. HaveTML does not replace the editor. It is a publish path for the HTML once the artifact has to leave that circle.

When Claude's share link is enough

If everyone who needs the page already has Claude, and you want to keep iterating in the same chat, stay there. Comments and access levels are built in. Viewers' connectors pull their own data. HaveTML is for the moment the page has to travel outside that circle: a client, a reviewer, someone who should not be asked to create a Claude account to open a page. The demo on this page is that moment, in the browser. Paste the HTML, get an unlisted link, send it. Unlisted and public links open without a HaveTML account. Pinning a comment needs a free sign-up.

Publish from Claude in one step

Connect HaveTML as a custom connector in Claude, or paste the MCP config from the connect page. Then ask Claude to publish the artifact as unlisted and give you the link. Every upload starts private; unlisted is the setting that lets anyone with the link open it. Re-publish and it becomes a new version behind the same link. Password or expiry is on Pro. The prompt below is the whole instruction. The demo above does the same publish through the dashboard upload, so a paste can be up to 50 MB; MCP and REST still reject bodies over 4.5 MB.

The short version

  • Yes. Choose HaveTML when the person you are sending the page to should open it without creating a Claude account, or when you want pinned comments, versions and a password option on the link.
  • Partial. Choose Claude's own share link when you want to keep editing with Claude in place, use built-in comments and access levels, or let viewers' connectors pull their own data.

Where Claude Artifacts is better

You can edit with Claude in place, comments and access levels are built in, and viewers' connectors pull their own data.

Publish from Claude

Connect HaveTML from the connect page, then ask Claude to publish the artifact as unlisted and hand you the link. Or paste the HTML into the demo above.

Publish this artifact to HaveTML as unlisted and give me the link. Do not make it public.

Questions

Can someone open my Claude artifact without a Claude account?
Not with Claude's current share link, except for a legacy artifact published from a chat. Anthropic's help page says everyone else needs a Claude account. A HaveTML unlisted or public link opens without one.
How do I share a Claude artifact with a client?
Download or copy the HTML, publish it to HaveTML as unlisted, and send that link. The demo on this page does the same thing in the browser.
Does HaveTML keep the same link when I update the page?
Yes. Re-publish and it becomes a new version behind the same link. Earlier versions stay in the history.
Are comments on the HaveTML page visible without signing in?
Anyone with an unlisted or public link can open the page. Pinning a comment needs a free HaveTML sign-up.
Can I keep the artifact private?
Yes. Every HaveTML upload starts private. Make it unlisted when you want anyone with the link to open it, or public if you want it findable. Encrypted files cannot be public.
